“Sorry, we’re experiencing a delay in the broadcast while we both wait for this bus to go by.”
Yes, those are all the same cars. Apparently they thought we wouldn’t notice because Nancy is on the right side of the screen, when in reality she is to Asleigh Banfield’s left. See The Atlantic Wire’s excellent breakdown of the shots to see exactly what happened. Tricky, CNN, very tricky. We understand, though. When a major crime story like the Cleveland Kidnapping breaks, you have to send in Nancy Grace. Unfortunately, it’s hard to get shooting permits in Cleveland on short notice, so you set up in the same parking lot. Do us a favor, CNN, just put them next to each other and have them talk into each other’s faces instead of relaying their words through satellites to come back down 30 feet away like we’re idiots.
Fantastic. This is one of funniest things i’ve seen today. CNN is a joke, a circus. .
This is a portion of a story written by Mort at http://beforeitsnews.com/media/2013/05/cnn-anchors-pretend-theyre-having-a-satellite-interview-even-though-theyre-in-the-same-parking-lot-2456012.html
We're not sure if there is a Guinness World Record for WORLD'S OLDEST COUGAR . . . but this woman should win it.
106-year-old Marjorie Hemmerde of Kew, Australia just married a man who's 33 YEARS YOUNGER than her. Now THAT'S a cougar taking down her prey.
And believe it or not, it's the FIRST MARRIAGE for both of them.
Marjorie and 73-year-old Gavin Crawford met three years ago at the Kew Gardens Nursing Home. According to Marjorie, quote, "We just sort of melted into each other. We get along like old friends, the age gap doesn't matter."
Marjorie says she never bothered getting married in the past because, quote, "I quite like living in sin."
NBC has asked CARRIE UNDERWOOD to sing the introduction to "Sunday Night Football" and she accepted.
Carrie and her version of "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night"will debut on the September 8th game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.
Carrie is the third person to sing the intro. PINK did it one year, back in 2006 . . . and then FAITH HILL took over and held the spot for six years before announcing last month that someone else could, quote, "rock the open."
It sounds like Carrie's pretty happy with the job. She said, quote, "For me it just seemed like something fun to do. Especially seeing Faith get that hype. It seemed like a good fit and a good time.
"I am thrilled to be a part of NBC's 'Sunday Night Football' and am so honored they asked me. I have always loved football season, and it is so exciting to now become part of it every Sunday night!"
Major retailers and local stores will be the big winners if the House follows the Senate and requires Internet retailers to collect sales taxes on online purchases.
National and regional chains are tired of being showrooms for shoppers who then search their smartphones for lower prices and buy online. The chains say they are at a 5% to 10% price disadvantage by having to charge sales tax.
"Retailers compete for customers on many different levels, distribution channels and fronts, including service and selection, but they cannot compete on sales tax," says Stephen Sadove, chairman of the board of the National Retail Federation and CEO of Saks Fifth Avenue. "Retailers of all shapes, sizes and channels deserve a level playing field."
Local stores are sick of having to compete with online retailers who only have to charge sales tax to consumers in states where they have a physical presence.
"For too long the Main Street retailers that are an integral part of their communities have faced tax rules that put them at a disadvantage to their out of state, online-only competitors," said Bill Hughes, government affairs chief for the Retail Industry Leaders Association.

Authorities say three brothers have been arrested after three women who vanished about a decade ago in separate cases were found alive Monday in a residential area just south of downtown Cleveland, just a few miles from where they disappeared. One of the women said she had been abducted and told a 911 dispatcher in a frantic call, "I'm free now."
Police said one of the brothers, a 52-year-old, lived at the home, and the others, ages 50 and 54, lived elsewhere. Authorities released no names and gave no details about them or what charges they might face.
Earlier, authorities described one of the suspects as a Hispanic male but said they planned to provide more information at a news conference Tuesday.
